The award was based on quality, innovativeness and management efficiency.
The jury included 11 experts in development, shopping center management, lease, architecture and marketing as well as representatives of shopping center tenants. After carrying out inspections of all nominated centers and a thorough analysis of extensive documentation the award committee made its decision taking into consideration quality, innovativeness and management efficiency.
Galaxy is the shopping center the most frequently visited by foreigners in Poland (approx. 30% of clients come from abroad) and the only Polish shopping center running active marketing operations beyond Polish borders. The center is constantly present in German and Scandinavian media and enjoys a lot of their interest both with regard to advertising and journalism: German, Scandinavian and British TV stations continue to make programs and reports about the center. Galaxy also offers the standard of service which has been adjusted to this situation, the staff working in the shops speak foreign languages and it is possible to pay directly in Euro in most of the outlets.
