The center has attracted many well known international and national brands. Aleksandra Bagdzińska of Jones Lang LaSalle, the international real estate agency, which supported King Cross in the leasing process said: “Despite the challenging times of the world economic crisis, the commercialization process proved to be very successful and the center attracted many well known international and national brands. The huge potential of King Cross Leopolis comes from the fact that it is a multifunctional, regional shopping center with large variety of brands and wide entertainment offer (ice skating ring, cinema multiplex, kids play, bowling) and with a catchment area of 1.5 million residents. Additional strength of the center is King Cross - a trustworthy developer with proven track record worldwide.”
Bagdzińska added: “Currently we observe more selective approach from retailers - they develop with caution giving preferences to the best commercialized shopping centers as Leopolis that will guarantee them successful performance.”
Marcin Trybus from King Cross said: “King Cross Leopolis may be considered as first commercial centre in Ukraine that can guarantee the same level as modern commercial centers all over Europe. This fact as well as the fact that King Cross Leopolis is managed by King Cross itself like all our other previous investments is really appreciated by many international and Polish retailers who choose it as first step in their expansion in Ukraine. Moreover, taking into account nearly 3 hectares adjacent to the commercial center possessed by the developer and 20,000 m˛ additional GLA to be built there, King Cross Leopolis will remain the biggest in entire region.”
Two levels of King Cross Leopolis are anchored by Praktiker DIY (8,100 m˛), Auchan hypermarket (13,250 m˛), Imax multiplex (3500 m˛), Foxtrot white and brown store (4200 m˛ ), Inditex group (Zara, Stradivarius, Bershka, Pull & Bear), Marks&Spencer, Terranova, Reebok, Reserved, Antoshka, Adidas, Motivi, Cropp Town; Kakadu; Brocard, Inglot and Triumph. The center is located in Lviv in one of the largest housing estates of the city.
