Heijmans and Heilijgers to develop 142 new homes in Leusden (NL)

Heijmans and Heilijgers will collaborate to build 142 new homes in the new Vallei park residential district in Leusden over the coming years. The selling price of the homes will start at approximately €290,000 including legal/transfer costs.
Both parties have signed related agreements with the City of Leusden. The project was given the official go ahead yesterday, Tuesday 20 January 2009.
The future Vallei park district will include widely differing types of homes: row homes, corner homes, semi-detached homes, freestanding homes and apartments. In addition, the city is donating approximately twenty free lots. The area is a sought-after location, bordering on a rural region (Gelderse Vallei) and the Vallei canal. Construction is expected to start within the next year or two. Heijmans and Heilijgers use a minimum level of 70% sales of new homes before starting construction.
