STRABAG PFS acquires ELCO group of companies based in Kehlen (LU)

STRABAG Property and Facility Services (STRABAG PFS) has acquired the ELCO group of companies, consisting of ELCO S.A, ELCO-SERVITEC S.A. and EFG S.A., based in Kehlen/Luxembourg.

ELCO was founded in 1945 and has since developed into a leading multi-technical provider in Luxembourg. The company employs around 450 people and supports numerous well-known customers from the public and private sectors. The service portfolio includes all technical trades in the area of technical building equipment (TGA), from planning to the installation of heating, cooling, air conditioning, ventilation and sanitary systems right through to fire alarm technology. In addition, ELCO offers a wide range of services in the area of medium voltage and renewable energies, such as the construction of photovoltaic systems and charging stations as well as comprehensive industrial services and telecommunications network services. The existing services are to be supplemented by infrastructural services so that STRABAG PFS can also offer integrated facility management services in Luxembourg in the future.

 

In the last financial year, ELCO generated a total output of around €59m. The closing has already taken place. It was agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
